Phil,

I appreciate all feedback and do not take any offense to your suggestion. You are the sponsor and have every right to make a suggestion as to what we do with the personalized board that you have graciously donated. If both prefer to play a 1-point match (Intermediate player given the opening roll advantage, no doubles) then of course I will not get in their way. Otherwise it will be a 5-point match. I will consider a 2-0 lead instead of a 1-0 lead for the Intermediate player. After consulting some of my mentors a decision will be published.
