If players are having to play very late then that might suggest that the organisers are trying to fit too much bg into a weekend, and/or too many unclocked or unsupervised matches.

I remind you with the London Open that players were told to be at the venue an hour before the projected 10 am Sunday start. Further, accommodation in the capital tends to be expensive, meaning that players are more likely to be travelling in to the event each day. It is not an event and, I suspect, never likely will be one where playing rooms and accommodation are at the same venue. When they are, it clearly argues for a much earlier start than one where many players are traveling in on the day.
