Possible Opposing Argument

I'm not convinced that an International Federation would inherently have a bankroll to throw at technology, at least not particularly more so that say the Federation of a fairly large and prosperous country. There would probably be many things on their todo list ahead of developing technology.
I'm also not convinced that the problem is that each director is re-inventing the wheel.
To an extent it's true. But I don't think it's the reason American tournament don't have sophisticated broadcasting.
I think the problem at root is simply Resources.
Nordic open attracts what, somewhere around and above 300 attendees? That requires a lot of infrastructure, but also probably more flexibility thanks to a registration revenue flow.
Some napkin calculations if we just round all three events to 100 players leads to roughly 15,000EU in registrations before we get into rakes.
This scale of event guarantees hotel rooms which greatly facilitate playroom space.
That likely leaves funds to devote to things like broadcasting, bandwidth and paying anchors.
The technology looked to me like Open Broadcaster in Studio Mode which allows for the various window and titling compositions and transitions. Multi-camera is great! But the technology is easily reached. The expertise to wire it all together, however is another matter! No federation is going to be able to avail a technician to come wire your event space for commentary and broadcasting. The tournament simply must have the resources, either volunteer or paid, at hand to accomplish this. I suspect many tournaments (mine included) struggle to staff just the basic operations!
The best way to get those resources is to scale your tournament up far enough to be able to afford the labor and services required to make it happen.
Unless there's some streaming angel philanthropist out there willing to make things happen, this is a difficult thing to accomplish just on economics.
But I'm fairly certain even an international federation simply cannot be that angel philanthropist.
Something we COULD do is be more open about what we're actually doing and share experience. I'll be happy to tell anyone my very limited experience. I would love to see a breakdown on how Nordic went about their broadcast studio streaming.
But at the end of the day, at least in America, it's going to come down to the Tournament Directors / Producers that make these events happen to either be able to afford efforts .... or not. The technology of it is fairly easily reached, the resources for it are another matter entirely.
