One of my least favorite things about XG is the animations. They slow down play so much. One of the first things I disable when setting up XG for someone or helping a student etc... is the damn animations.

GNU also has export to BGO. (GOL)

The opinion of which bot has the best interface is a personal choice. I find most people simply go with the one they use the most which makes sense because they're the most comfortable with it. I have used the main 3 bots extensively (and others such as JellyFish & BGBlitz) and I don't think there's a clear winner in this category. I'm very comfortable with all of them and actually GNU would be my last choice.
