Short race evaluation?

I do my own methods to evaluate most races. Is White's position better or worse than if he had 7 checkers on his ace pt. I honestly am not sure and think it is very close. So since from ref. pos, I know that if White had 7 checkers on the ace pt this is R/easy take, I recube and take here without further ado.
