Does match score matter? Blue doesn't want to lose a gammon, but even if he does he's still 1a 8a. So, I'll ignore it and just make the DMP play.

I'll go for the hit-and-cover. With eleven in the zone a blitz is thematic, abd be taking waay half of white's roll blue may be able to pick up another checker. Blue has a backgame structure, which would imply make-the-five ( pure play ), but without the timing it's not a backgame.
