Backgame Cube Action

1) White has some good counterplay with the two blots to shoot at, although I coung 23 shakes that make the three point. I think white's timing is ok - she either sits on the bar or enters and leaps.

So, I think white can take here. OTOH, 4-1 backgames are not very promising so maybe not.

And since I'm not sure it's a take, it must be a cube.

2) Poor players will screw up as blue a lot more than as white. So, I'm more inclined to take a cube from a poorer player here. QF tells me that it's a pass for normal play. So be it.
