Vegas baby!

I will be there of course, and with the many others coming from around the world for the tournament and for Carter's birthday, I will start working on some other "special events" before and after the tournament.

Vegas is not only a great town, and the tournament is not only a great tournament, but because there are so many top players there we often have some special, good times. For example, a couple of tournaments ago Mochy and I ran a very successful Boot Camp. A couple of other times we had the Mochy/Simborg Challenge where I proved to everyone who might wonder, that Mochy is, indeed, better than me. (Surprise, surprise.)

Last year we had a PaskoGammon tournament at Jim Pasko's house. I invented PaskoGammon and named it in honor of Jim who is my favorite back game player. Is it any wonder that the finalists of the tournament were Mochy and Victor...two of the best in the world...and we had a lot of other Giants in the event.

So there are many possibilities for fun side stuff (Akiko and I took off and saw a Cirque one night, and Carter got us tickets to a fun concert last time).

So not only plan to come to Vegas...think about coming early and staying a few days longer...we'll have a lot of special things to do.

What I really want to do is have a Roast of Carter. What could be more fun than that? Who in backgammon would you rather roast?????
