I think you just summed it up. Why are players so worried about the possibility of a preset or hacked electronic sequence, when so many say nothing - OTB or ever - with regard to opponents using opaque dice, headphones, doubtful (and frequently non existent) dice shaking and other dubious practices? What a joke.

So much resistance from some players to something different to what they're used to. At least some emphasise that they like rolling physical dice. I still believe though that, in a public tournament at least, they should acquiesce to a player who wants them to GIVE UP CONTROL over the actual rolling of the dice, ie use a dice randomiser (baffle box). So many grey areas or, simply, illegal practices swept away.
