Awkward Checker Play

I realize there are several no direct plays, but all I see here are future nightmares. I'm willing to make the 4pt. It's only a painful 11/36 right now, which is 7 more than the safe plays.

As I write this, I am finding myself more and more willing to play safe. Urgh. Ok. Flip flop to 7/2, 9/5. Yuck.
