Scripting GNU Backgammon

Sorry for my lax terminology, in fact I was not referring to Python scripting in GNU Backgammon, but rather to the commands that it accepts (toggle on the "Command" panel in the "View" menu and play around with the help). The commands can also be read from a file.
I used this functionality to create huge (> 1 GB) files full of commands to be executed by GNU Backgammon. This helped e.g. in augmenting existing endgame databases automatically with EPCs, creating new endgame databases by having GNU Backgammon playing itself and extracting the non-contact positions, ...
This is, however, something probably not interesting for mere players in contrast to researchers. And it requires a pretty nerdy mentality. (-;
Best regards
Axel
