In Atlanta this afternoon, Carter and Dennis and I were chouetting when a player who has played with us before and walked up and asked if he could get in.

I can’t promise these are Carter’s exact words, but they are close:

“We’re playing for 25’s which you will probably bitch about, and if you get in you will cry and complain whenever you lose and try to settle for a half point on a 1 cube. You will take far too long to make a simple play and you will argue with your partners who, by the way, are all far better than you. And you will keep asking your score and questioning the scorekeeper every time you lose a point. But yes, you are more than welcome to join us. Have a seat.”
