White is Player 2
score: 0
pip: 152Unlimited Game
Beaverpip: 164
score: 0
Blue is Player 1XGID=-b---AD-C--AdD---b-cbb--B-:0:0:1:66:0:0:2:0:10 Blue to play 66
Would like to know what the roll sequence probably was for this position...
Here are a couple of eleven-roll sequences (leading up to the twelfth-roll 66):
43Z-63H-31H-F-43P-64R-65H-64H-51E-41H-11P-66
54S-62H-41H-F-31P-61U-21L-31H-F-65S-11P-66
In those days, opening 62$ was very popular. So, you can shorten the sequence by one roll by replacing the first five rolls of the second sequence with 62$-54S-F-31P.
Many players responded 62$ even to opening 31P. Hence, it is possible that the position was reached in only nine rolls, with 31P-62$-54S being the replacement.
Or Dwek might have made the position up.
