I am willing to try just about anything before completely ruling it out, as I like to try new ideas and different things. I can see how this could be fun if some reasonable limits were made on the amount of each bet and how often you can make a bet, otherwise a player with an edge will bet every roll and the money gets out of hand. Also, it is just too much time and too much haggling and betting to take away from playing the game.

So I would favor something like a $5 ante, and each player can bet, say, up to half the pot, 2 more times during the game.

I guess if you can make a bet, you should also be able to raise (like a beaver).
