Backgammon in the 80s

I found a problem in an old Pacific Backgammon Association Newsletter from the fall of 1982:
White is Player 2
score: 0
pip: 120Unlimited Game
Jacoby Beaverpip: 107
score: 0
Blue is Player 1XGID=aABBBBC-----b---bc-bCbab--:1:-1:1:23:0:0:3:0:10 Blue to play 23
eXtreme Gammon Version: 2.10
The analysis:
The obvious 6-1 closing [blue's] board is an error--there are 15 board-breaking numbers on the next roll. Moving 20-15 is the best play averting this disaster. White's imperfect board is a key factor in mitigating the risk of White's ace shot. We've come a long way...
