congratulations to the winners.

For what it is worth, just one more data point... the quality of the streaming and the communications really does elevate the event. I found that my perception is that this is a prestigious event to attend.

My health has improved substantially over the past 2 years and I now have the physical strength, again, to travel. I actually travelled to Manila earlier this year and had a great time playing some heads up backgamon with a small group there. When I saw the notice here about Novi, it was too late for me to make plans to attend, but I do intend to attend the summer classic next year, and hope that there will be a winter classic as well. OMG, 5 days of backgammon!!!! I might need a wheelchair and a cute nurse to keep me going, heheheh
