ok, just to clarify. I'm not talking about passing the cube to lose the match. I'm talking about not being able to offer a cube when you can win the match but your opponent can't. It's a bad decision and a blunder to so, but the cube should still be active b/c the cube is not high enough for the opponent to win. I don't think it's right to protect the leader from such a blunder for no reason. The Crawford rule already gives one level of protection to the leader, they don't need anymore. It's just too one sided and not fair. Might as well just declare the leader the winner.
