In Response To: Questions on Box cubes (TarHeelFan)

1) Box must double at least half on initial cube. No rules on order or inclusion of Captain.

2) Recubes are free of restrictions

Also, the Box must TAKE at least half on an initial double and must always take the Captain if they take any cubes at the same level as the Captain. They are allowed to take a Crew 4 cube and drop a Captain's 2 cube for example.

In general we take players who are lowest on the sheet, but do not prevent opportunistic cube action. "Drops of respect" are not uncommon, but then we play with a pretty wide skill range.
