I'm a big fan of anything that prevents selectivity that isn't about managing risk or keeping the box. It's not worth insulting people you see regularly by cubing or taking only them in a small-stakes club chouette. I suppose you could argue that there's some strategy involved in figuring out when it's worth doubling a strong player that can help the captain, but I think there's already plenty of strategy in this great game of ours.

So I really like Madison's rule that Keene mentioned, which is that on initial cubes one must double/take in order, and I favor going one step further of requiring acting in order on any simultaneous cubes that are equal in value.
