My wife just asked "is this because they won't let you wear earphones?" And I stated yes. But I think I will be better served not being constrained by an organization that acts unilaterally. There's a lot out there. But what is the goal of the USBGF? Is it not "A not-for-profit organization devoted to advancing the awareness, participation, education and enjoyment of the skill-based game of backgammon." Why the fuck are you concerned about dice on checker? Why can't I wear headphones? Why the hell does the website look like a commercial ad for industrial parts? I get bored looking at it and I actually enjoy the game and know all the players. How the hell are you advancing the awareness? The participation? You sure as hell aren't helping the enjoyment. So I will act, and I have already started my recruitment drive. And maybe in a few years the board will join us. I was there in the delivery room Rich. For fuck's sake, I was the one who was travelling and insisted it be formed. But then they made Rod head. And then the other bullshit. And hey, then you had a president that advocated the rape and murder of my wife and child on facebook because I was friends with Barack Obama. I have voiced my opinions. A lot. Or do you want to tell this audience that I have been quiet? I'm sure they will buy that. I usually keep my feeling to myself. Said no one about me ever.
