The usual race formula is 10% + 1 for the point-of-last-take. That says that white can take when 11 pips behind and blue can cube when within three pips of POTL, or at 8 pips. Blue is ten pips ahead so it's within the doubling window for money play.

I'm not seeing anything about the distribution that would make me want to adjust the pip count, but match score obviously looms large.

White can take deeper than normal, or about 17% since a win gives her the match. Here, she's probably about 24%, so there's still a bit to go before it's a cash.

I'm going to say blue should take a shake and make white's take decision harder, unless he thinks white may drop.
