Cost of the USBGF: One membership type for all; kids free

One suggestion from a member: simplify the membership fees structure. You are either a member or you are not.

I say this after renewing my membership a couple of weeks ago. I found it a bit confusing to have to wade through the membership options and their corresponding "benefits".

I know the concept of "premium" vs regular memberships is pervasive in the online world, yet I find the practie annoying and possibly counterproductive in our case.

Take the situation where a non-premium member tries to access a service or function only available to premium members: he/she will feel frustrated upon being denied access because of not having paid upscale fee. That will not generate any goodwill for the USBGF.

If we wish to price discriminate (in the positive sense of the word) among members, let's do it by status, e.g., folk under 18 join for free; 19-22 year olds pay 1/2 price; etc.
