It’s not really a method it’s just what the bots do at 0-ply with some more code to get the effective DPs at the current gammon rates. I thought of checking my program for problem 2 and it actually agrees precisely with GNU .See below. Strange, for problem 1 I did not manage to get a RD/T regardless of checking upto 4 plies with GNU and doing a full rollout. Anyway I have no reason to doubt your Redouble finding with XG.

I am not that narrow minded to believe those calculated DPs CPs and TG points that just agree with the bots at 0-ply, are the absolute truth.. In fact I mentioned that in my readme file. I tried -to the best of my ability and experience in using them- to warn the users of when they should not rely on them. The reason I decided to share is because I believe they are useful, I often use them myself and usually are accurate.

Certainly you can contribute to this effort, with your own thoughts. Notice most of the values don’t refer to gammonless games. Perhaps you might need some time to check some positions with gammons etc. If necessary just give me the 0-ply percentages (including gammons and backgammons, score and position of cube) and I will revert with the relevant equities and DPs. Then write your own thoughts and give me permission to include them in the readme file with your own name.
