The statement issued used the word "voted". Poll was my word. We go to the polls to vote. Regardless, when have you ever seen voting results being announced to the public as a percentage of total population rather than percentage of those actually voting? Did you think when reading the statement that it meant what Bill claims it meant? Or did you read it knowing with near certainty that it meant that out of every 100 voters, 81 were in support? Sure, we can pick apart the words and find gotchas and imagine conspiracies, but let's get real here. You know what was meant. We all did. Even Bill did.
