A 23 point doubles match? Wow, how long did that take?! Did you use clocks? If so, were they analogue or digital back in 2001, and what TC?

Clocks were used only by mutual agreement back then, almost always analog, no reserve time, no delay, and a typical time control was 5 minutes per point. (It should have been on a declining curve, because decent-paced players seemed to use less than half their time in a long match.)

I always preferred to play with a clock, as did Senk, and I doubt Harvey or Mike Sherman objected. (Likewise on the previous round, with Kit, Ken, Harvey and myself). So, chances are we did clock it and with 23 x 5 = 115 minutes each. (Hard to equate, because so much time is saved today on the delay.)
