Pretty surprising to me that XG doesn't see doing anything other than making the 23 and hitting as a far larger error than .077. You just can't give opponent free rein to strengthen his blockade and divide and rule your forces. That would both pretty well rule out any chance of any kind of timing for a backgame and totally kill your chances of winning this game going forwards from here.
