Brevity of rules

Yes, I didn't read carefully enough and notice that the unreasonable clause is not there. In the 3 page rules that is it. There is nothing there about being able to ask the director for an exemption or about the director being able to give one. Since the 3 page ruleset stands on it own, if one is indeed given then the USBGF rules are not being followed but you have indicated that they can indeed be given. Is there some meta principle involved? Is it indicated in the rules? Since being able to use noise cancelling or music playing headphones seems to be important to some is it one more thing that directors should put in their brochures: "Under what circumstances will an objection to an objection about head phone use be overruled?".
