What did White just roll?

Congratulations to Sean Garber, who found White's last play of 42Z (bar/23 13/9) [his diagram colors are inconsequentially reversed], and a plausible play for Blue the move before of 62O (13/11* 10/4), covering the 4pt.

If you've clicked on the second link above, try to imagine what White's (best-play) move might have been before that. I don't think you'll find one. Still, Sean did solve the puzzle as I proposed it -- kudos.

[Another possible "solution" is that White's last play to reach the diagram above might instead have been 42D (13/11 13/9) and Blue's play before that 61@ (bar/18). You can even find a third play going backwards, in that White played 42P (8/4* 6/4), but there comes a point where you can't retrace any further because the underlying Blue blot spray cannot be explained through perfect (or even good) moves.]

I realize I didn't request it, but if one's goal is a complete reconstruction, I believe White 42Z (as Sean cited) must have been the move just played, and Blue pointed on his 4pt the roll before, breaking his 7pt in the process (not necessarily using a 6pt spare, but that is the way to achieve the shortest retro-sequence).

From the opening position, here is a (perfectly played) 11-roll sequence for anyone who cares to play through it:
