I can confirm beyond any reasonable doubt that at 0-ply the bots use the following: Score, cube position, cube efficiency, winning /losing percentages. If calculating the gammonless Live looks complicated, imagine how much more complicated it is to calculate non gammonless values. They first calculate the Dead and Live equity, and then the cubeful between the 2. They make cube decisions this way. The Dead equity is indisputable assuming the MET Table is accurate, the method by which they calculate the Cubeful, is erm... OK logical enough. My only worry is about the Live equity.
The other parameters they could miss at evaluation level that doesn't go deep enough (upto what ply I don't know) are market losers, recube potential etc
I have done an independent program that does this work.(doesn't do money games though) Fell free to test me by giving me the bot's percentages at 0-ply at any match score and cube value upto 25A and i will revert giving you the bot's equities, plus other info.
