In Response To: XG 'Book' Moves - authoritative? (Albert Steg)

i'm very tired now, pls forgive my poor grammar. I don't function very well when i'm tired. But I did want to reply to this now.

In pool which is very complex, learning all the english, angles, position play looking 3,4,5, shots ahead, sometimes the whole rack. Yes there are gifted players who start at 12 and by the time they are 17 they have it down pretty good. But for most people it takes years to learn how to read the table and position play. It is much like BG in that sense.

The best way and quickest way to learn pool and for me BG has been the look at it everyday for 15-60 minutes. More on days my brain function seems higher, but 15 on a bad day. Things then become familiar. Thats served me well. Unless i'm tired then i get creative and massive blunders appear.

And as Albert mentioned its cool when a position pops up OTB that you know cold!! and you just know it.

I know I make lots of pool to BG comparisons, i do that because they are accurate and i know pool a heck of alot better. My BG game is coming along nicely. So I'm reasonably qualified to discuss this.

im going to bed before another blunder lol
