I have a couple of rare baseball feats:

(1)Back-to-back homers by the same two teammates in one inning. Accomplished by Mike Cameron and Bret Boone, Seattle Mariners, May 2, 2002. In the first inning of the Mariners versus White Sox, Cameron and Boone hit back-to-back home runs. Seattle batted around... and, in the same inning, Cameron and Boone went back-to-back again;

(2)2 grand slams in an inning. Accomplished by Fernando Tatis, St. Louis Cardinals, April 23, 1999. In the Cardinals-Dodgers game, Tatis hit two grand slams in the third inning -- both off of the same pitcher, Chan Ho Park. No player has ever hit two in one inning before or since; and no player has ever matched Tatis's eight RBIs in one inning either

Bonus, not-so-freaky, but painful: I played for Elvis Presley Enterprises for four years of summer ball, from the 9th through the 12th grade. Elvis would, once or twice a year, park one of his Cadillacs on a road that was just beyond the right field fence and watch the game, usually for an inning or two. The summer after my junior year in high school we had a very good team and tied for first place. Elvis came for the playoff game and stayed for his usual couple of innings. We lost 1-0. In that game, I went 3-3 with a single a double and a triple. On the triple, the 3rd base coach waved me home and as I got 15 feet past the base I saw the catcher had the ball. I was a dead duck. There were no outs. Terrible base coaching. ON the single, I was thrown out stealing 2nd-the only time I was thrown out all year and I stole a lot. On the double I was doubled off 2nd by a line drive to the short stop. That was one of my better days at the plate but as bad a day as anybody could have on the bases, and to lose 1-0 made it ever so more painful.
