How we won at the Atlanta Spring Classic

Yes, that was six months ago. My brother and I, Rick and Stuart Gardner, would like to introduce ourselves to the forum. We're a couple of advanced intermediates who've been playing casually for forty years but only studying for three. We look forward to learning a great deal from you good people. In Atlanta earlier this year we left the tournament feeling that we were the big winners, and we still feel that way, although we didn't win a dime. It was our first tournament other than a short visit to the '16 event, and we had the time of our lives thanks to the many friends we made. Maybe you were one of them. So, hello to our buddies Mary Hickey, Greg Lilly, Carter Mattig, Samra Hadden, Koray Agribas, Alan Epstein, Adrian Costa, Carl Sorg, Julius High, Stacey Turner, Phil Simborg, Dennis Culpepper, Carol Joy Cole, Robin Horton, Jeb Horton, Karen Davis, Bob Carpenter, Stuart Domachek, Sabba, Tim Brown, Linda Donaldson, Jan Lister, and to any we may be forgetting to mention. We were the recipients of tremendous good will from everyone, and of small and large favors from many. We wouldn't trade that weekend for any trophy. Let's all look forward to reuniting at the 2018 Atlanta Spring Classic!
