7 - 33/7 suggests to me that the adjustment should be more than the one pip that Neil suggested. And now I remember something else that I think Trice wrote. Well I don't really remember it but I remember that there is something to remember. Something about some other factor making the take slightly easier in the one checker model to balance the EPC being a little lower than a real race.
I'll remember your remember to remember sentence, or at least try to remember to remember it.
If there is some overlaying factor (such as variance, proposed by Maik) that makes the take easier in the one-checker model, thus relatively harder with 15 checkers, it would serve to offset the difference between 7 – 33/7 and 33 – ~31.75 (the latter being the subtractor Neil's many rollout results suggest to be accurate) = ~1.15. That is, if I am correctly putting into context what you can't quite remember.
