Can you avoid a double blunder?

Agreed. The only time I played a snake prime in an actual match, I doubled the person out when I had advanced the snake prime from the 15 to the 10 points. I had all my checkers in play, was chasing just one checker, and his board had crashed. He had a man off, so there were no gammons in play. He told me he'd been playing for 30 years and had never seen anything remotely like it before!
Here is something like what we had:
XGID=---------aBBCBBC--A---bgd-:0:0:1:00:0:0:0:0:10
I forget the score. I just XG'd this and 4-ply says d/t by 111/366. Then ++ says I am 80.7% to win and he is 19.3 with 9.9 gammons (?!) and it's ND/T by 099/033.
I haven't rolled it out, but I ran 7-ply just because it's there, and it says ND/T by 198/655, and has Black winning 30 percent and getting 23.75 gammons!
