Ken -- while it's the identity and standings of the top 100-500 players that may be of most interest to those who care to look, it would also be very interesting to know how many total individuals participated in the events tallied in these rankings.
I'm not asking that you list all however-many-thousand players there are after the top 500, but it would be very interesting to know how many names would be included IF you did extend the list to the very lowliest participants, and, perhaps, the actual number of unique participants there were in each year. (And on second thought, why not go ahead and show the full list? It's not like you have to pay for ink!)
This would give a sense of the scope of the BG community, and also give players in the List a rough sense of their percentile standing in the broadest measure of participants.
So, I am currently at #118 in your list. Does that put me in the top 5% of participants included in your system? The top 20%? Or maybe 8%?
I think this would just add a little more 'color' to the data you are so usefully providing us, if you included some such figures along with the chart.
