'Old school' versus 'human neural net'

As early as in the second move, safety and tactics, as hyper –complex concepts, can arise. A blot-hitting contest is going on. Hitting on the 5-point, aiming on prime-position value – if the 5-point is to make, in the future -, is an attempt in the early course. But the resulting position puts the blot-count up 3:4.

The value of the white blot in the evil prime forest is not determined. If he is hit, he can be recirculated, for Blitz/Attack Value, it is just a slotted point. Playing with four blots, his value might raise.

In the opening, hitting with an ace on the 5-point is a common theme. Unstacking, bringing a man with limited freedom to move in a favourable position, gaining overall mobility and flexibility. Hitting instead from the 8-point leaves the heavy 5-point unstacked, stripes the 8-point. It is a move with a big downside, even if the blot it is not hitted. The resulting position - if for example the 5-point is made with the blot on the 9-point -, is inflexible, a little brittle. Sure, the 5-point is the 5-point, but the efficiency must be taken into account against mobility. In the early course, the 9-point can also be a goal, connectivity is going up, the most valuable point beside the bar-point to make, connecting the mid-point with the front position.

Playing Bar/22 18/16 could be the ‘quiet bot move’, leaving the blot count overall (not only regarding the inner board blots) 3:3, slots the better anchor and brings a triplication in play, a concept, which arises only in the hyper-complex concept ‘safety’ and in the meta-concept ‘tactics’, not direct in the hidden layer of overall value, there in the concept of ‘safety’, in Prime, Race and Contact Value. It is non-commitment, compared to the oldschool, human hit on the 5-point.

Over the board, I could be, that I would hit easily on the 5-point. It seems just natural. But if there is a short moment, to irritate the common routine, given the structure of a ‘human neural net’, to see, to have a different ‘vision’ of the position, the in between triplication move could come up, weighing in depth the assets and liabilities of the future course.
