The best way to take advantage of opponent errors is to make the best play that takes advantage of the specific error that was made. So, the elite players PR should remain low. Maybe passing a small take in a holding game to reduce volatility and leaning towards conservatism in blitz and prime v prime positions will compromise the better players PR somewhat. Also slotting opening aces more often to avoid holding games and races will ultimately lead to wins with higher PR.

Stealing points with the cube can be costly in terms of PR but great in terms of MWP. Knowing how to steal and whom one can steal from are more delicate matters. Cube errors can push up the PR quite a bit, but I doubt that any adjustments should ever push the favorite's PR out of the winning zone.

That being 4-6 PR. Where Akiko resided consistently when she was climbing to the top and beating everyone in her path.
