Only 8 Days 'till Cleveland

Fun with language learning. 'till is not a shortened form of until. If you were going to shorten until, the most obvious similar choice would be 'til as is often used in signage for businesses such as "Open 'til 8".

Till is a word in its own right being synonymous with until.
