2away/2away. Opponent opens with 52S and you roll 55 and he dances. XG says double.
It seems to me you gain more playing on for a gammon, and if things don't go well it will still be D/T? I see a real upside in playing on, but don't see a real downside.
Obviously XG does not agree with me, so why? And in addition to why is XG right, I am also interested in what you would do over the board.
