Problem with XG

Can anyone advise me, please?

I have recently loaded XG 2.10 on a new desktop computer with Windows 10. Mostly it works fine, including bringing in matches from GridGammon. But when I try to set up a position, first clearing the board, the program closes when I try to place a checker in an outer board.
