Cube action, should players with significant PR advantage drop this

I had the below position against XG. The game went double/take. During my post-mortem, I called a friend, Brent Cohen (some of you know him) and we discussed this. His comment was that since XG was so much better he thinks it was supposed to drop based on player factor, thereby making my "mistake" not so much of a mistake.
What would some of the giants here think of this? My avg. PR is about 8ish. Is a world class player PR > 4 supposed to drop this?
