White was about to gammon blue and overcome a big deficit to win the match when this occurred:

Match to 9, Blue leads 8-5
White to play 52

White was forced to play 4-off, 3-1 leaving this position:

Match to 9, Blue leads 8-5
Blue to play 31

Blue rolled 3-1, not hitting. But White then rolled 2-2 leaving this:

Blue hit both blots and eventually won the game and match.
