Clock Apps

At this years Silicon Valley Open the Open players played 9 point matches with a clock and the Advanced division played 7 point matches without a clock being required. The Open players usually finished 1st.

I am thinking of adding clocks to the Advanced division next year to help speed things up.

I was wondering how many more clocks I would need. Many Open players already have clocks but few Advanced players do. I have a number of clocks but one did go missing this year at the tournament.

There are a number of Apps available for phones and tablets, is it unreasonable to ask players to download and use one of them? Are there any that people like more than others? I have BGBuddy and I like it but I have not tried many of the other apps.
