Anyone know how to treat the leather on an Aries board to allow better sliding of the checkers? My board is about twenty years old and I never wanted to put a chemical on it for fear of ruining the board. I figured the problem would remedy itself with extended use but this never happened. A few pips remain stubbornly “sticky” for decades. If you’re guessing as opposed to knowing please send me that caveat.
