Money rounds will be played today... Kit will play Pat Gibson in one quarterfinal, having overcome a big deficit in each of his first two matches.
I look for him to seal the deal...
For the second year the balky wifi connection at the Golden Nugget has prevented streaming, although Phil seems to be able to it somehow.
The nugget wants something like $500 per day to have an outside entity set up a dedicated line and dinosaurs don't have that much money.
However the Vegas tournaments are still the best run events in the United States of America. The US Open winner will be crowned here and Howard Markowitz was the innovator of the buy back system used at many tournaments today including NYC. Vegas consistently generates the largest prize pools and Troy Longman is the finest most professional TD on the ABT, with all due respect to the others. We players appreciate quality when we see it and by the way the Golden Nugget rooms and venue are excellent.
Howard (the dinosaur) Markowitz told me that many people chose to compliment the rooms at the GN last year, more than they ever had for previous venues! Besides that, its Vegas man. Check it out in November maybe?
