Some epic loot from Viking Classic! (transcribed matches...)

Hi!

I have started to receive matches from this tournament and it looks like Nick Blasier is going to blow away the competition in an epic showing of backgammon stamina of 27 matches! Wow! Is this the most recorded matches by a single player from a single tournament ever? Mochy had an epic run in Chicago Open 2016 with 26 matches and 4 of Nick's matches were double consultation so depending on your definition the title is between these two! (I don't have a database query for this yet but I don't remember having seen any other entry even approaching these numbers.)

This brings Nick's total matches for this year up to 117! Looks like last year record of 126 matches set by Steve Sax could be beaten quite soon! Amazing! :-)
