*** OFF TOPIC *** How to rotate line about a point where lines intersect

Line1 (y=mx+b) intersects horizontal Line2 (y'=k) at point (x1,k).

Please see diagram at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dhom3u6jwva5iod/AAA4VFc1JLFBM9CvlRvcXfvLa?dl=0

I would like to rotate Line1 about the point where Line1 and Line2 intersect so that in effect Line1 becomes Line2.

Practically, Line1 is the ordinary least squares line fit from a set of data points.

I would like to transform the data points so as to take away the slope of their trendline.

Thanks in advance.

Leo
