How much should you trust 3-ply/XGR?

I posted this position to rec.games.backgammon but I think it's interesting enough to re-post here. After I posted a 3-ply/XGR rollout, Stick said that his stronger rollout yielded a significantly different verdict. But I'm getting ahead of myself. What's your assessment of the cube action?
