RIP Bill Finneran

Saw the news on FB today that Bill Finneran passed away. He was a nice guy, a good sport, a good player, and a great part of our community. Never played him over the board, but did play him in some online USBGF thing one time on Grid.

My favorite memory of him: one of the first tournaments I traveled to in 2018, I ran into him in the elevator to the playing room. I asked how he was doing that morning, his response was "Great -- no bad rolls yet!" I have to admit to stealing that one.
