AI: The x'000 year-old game of competitive backgammon may well have to change...

I don't wish to be the bearer of 'not all good news', but back in 2023, I made a post on Facebook:
Subject: The x'000 year-old game of competitive backgammon may well have to change. Drastically. Forever.

I thought the potential ramifications of my 'heads-up!' would spark some remedial discussion for mitigation within the backgammon community.
Maybe the platform was not quite right.
Before panic and palpitations set in, let me add - I don't mean now, but perhaps 100 years in the future. (Or perhaps 50. Or maybe even less)
I had suggested that with the relatively imminent refinement and adoption of BCI (brain-computer interface) units, many of our offspring and perhaps even some of ourselves will be wont to take advantage of the abilities afforded by digital augmentation:
- Maybe we will have an enhancement to help us with our jobs
- Maybe a plugin to help us with our navigation
- Maybe an expert chef to help us bake a cake
- Maybe a 4-ply bot to help us smash that rotten shark down the local chouette /s
I'll keep this reasonably brief, so here are some related videos...

Extrapolate outwards: think corporate competition, commercialisation, process refinement, miniaturisation, mass-production, retail demand and pricing, and finally, the driver of 'competition' and its role in both social and physical evolution...
N.B. There are uncountable other potential ramifications (including opportunities), but I won't go into those now.
